Mission Space

FastPass, Height 44", 5 minutes ride, transfer from ECV or wheelchair

Guests get to train at the ITCS (International Space Training Center)  for a flight on a X2 rocket ship to Mars.  Guests can choose from the Orange Team for a more intense training session or the Green Team for a less intense training session.  After previewing your training instructions where you learn what tasks each job has to perform, you will enter the training capsule.  The job titles on the X2 are Pilot, Commander, Engineer and Navigator.  During the training session you will travel from the launch pad for a sling shot around the moon, through a meteor shower, finally solve a problem at the landing site.

Caution: May cause motion sickness, claustrophobia- closed space, Spinning on Orange Team, G forces, turbulence, dark, loud

  • Ride this attraction early or with a FastPass.

  • FastPass times may be hours later or taken by early afternoon, get as soon as you can.

  • Those not riding the attraction can wait in the Advanced Training Lab where there is a playground, computer games or email pictures home.

  • Visit the store to get something special for a brave kid that rode the ride.
